Pony Club Achievement Badges are awarded to members who have studied a variety of topics on pony care and the environment. The circular fabric badges are designed to be sewn on the Corribway sweatshirt.
Members learn about new topics in an enjoyable and manageable way, while improving their general knowledge about ponies, the countryside, and environment. Candidates are examined in as informal a fashion as possible, sometimes with a multiple-choice test or orally in small groups. There are a range of badges.
Thus far, our members have worked for three achievement badges:

Thus far, our members have worked for three achievement badges:
Flags of the Equestrian Nations: Members have knowledge of eight equestrian nations competing in the various equestrian disciplines, their capitals and flags.
Working Dogs: To be able to identify any 12 breeds of working dogs, and describe in which sphere they are traditionally used. Our members all completed working dogs projects, in which they gave a presentation on a specific working dog.
Road Rider: Members have been learning the rules of the road, how to prepare for treks with their ponies, and what to do if the unexpected arises! They also learn to obey traffic signals and "right of way". Members will be tested by a certified instructor at the next rally.
Our next Achievement Badge will be on the Points of the Horse, where members will have to know the points of the horse, colours, and markings. They have already started on some of this work with Michaela, and we'll continue at the next rally!
